Managing risk in any endevour is important. It is even more considerable when you have lots of equipment, people and activities all coming together at the same time.
At the meeting of the Association on 19th July 2006, delegates endorsed the need for Club Management to take a close look at their responsibilities under "Duty of Care" legislation and consider aspects of managing risk of personal injury and/or damage to property during club activities.
Accordingly, the Association has prepared a guideline resource to enable caring Clubs to take appropriate action and put a management structure in place and have members made fully aware of it along with their individual responsibilities.
The resource should not appear too daunting. It suggests a way in which individual Clubs can check out their potential to risky practices by examining all club activities and become aware of those which pose a risk. Click below to download details of the master plan and assessment table.
