We love our caravan - its like a second home! Once a month we load it up-somewhere new to roam. It’s been all round Australia, to places far and wide, Across the Nullabor to reach the other side. Its been to every state and gone across the sea, You’ll never know by nightfall exactly where we’ll be! We take it to the country and to the beaches too- Up and down the busy roads always finding somewhere new! It’s done some hairy scary stuff-you wouldn’t believe it could, But it’s a tough old thing and does everything just like it should! It’s had it’s share of knocks, red dust, dents and dings, But it’s amazing how-when said and done - the freedom that it brings! We love the outdoor life, the sunrise and the sunset. It’s all there waiting for us—in the summer and the wet. The wildflowers by the roadside after winter rain, We cant wait to head up north and see it all again! Follow the map-or take “pot luck”-it’s always quite exciting. Set up camp then take a rod to see if fish are biting. To pull in for a cuppa tea at a roadside stop — It’s great to meet another ’vanner”—breaking the long haul hop! You hear of people saying how they yearn to be like us, The folks who live like gypsies in their caravan or bus! So good people when we pass you on the road, we’ll exchange a wave or two, ‘Cos’ we love caravanning —just as much as you!Mary Marsh...Sunnywest Caravan Club (2007)
