State/Territory Associations are appointed as the "National Secretariat" in an agreed sequence for a period of three years. Their appointment is approved by the representative State/Territory Delegates at the triennial meeting held at the National Rally. The retiring Secretariat and its State /Territoral Association has the honour and responsibility of organising and managing the Rally held at the end of their three year tenure.
The National Secretariat is currently seeking National registration with ASIC as a means of achieving an Australia wide image, jurisdiction and status. It is also working as an informal body, at this stage, to form an Australian Recreational Vehicles Owners organisation, together with the Campervan & Motorhome Club of Australia Ltd(CMCA), Australian Touring Caravan, Motorhome & Camping Club Inc. (ATCMCC) and Australian Caravan Club Limited (ACC), for lobbying Governments and the Toursim Industry.
A Secretariat is currently being operated in New South Wales.
